Instructional Lab Information for
BSB Rooms 108, 117 & 133

Room BSB-108
This is an open lab which adjoins open labs 109 & 110 BSB and is occasionally used for hands-on instruction of microcomputers and software applications, as well as, offering connections to remote mainframes and minicomputers to use their applications. This lab is partitioned off via an expandable room divider. Use of this lab for teaching purposes is by reservation only.
Basic Layout & Hardware:
Equipment available: ceiling mounted projector; 18 PCs with Internet access (Pentium 4/3G 512 MB RAM, 17" FLAT PANEL MONITOR, 3.5" FDD, 80GB, HD, DVD/CD-RW ROM) mounted on 3 tables, each table with 6 Dell PCs w/Microsoft Windows; eraseable marker board; connection for an instructor's laptop computer; print access to an HP LaserJet 4300 duplex printer.
Room BSB-117
This is a closed lab dedicated to hands-on instruction of microcomputers and software applications, as well as, offering connections to remote mainframes and minicomputers to use their applications. Teachers have a unique facility for presentations, demonstrations, and group tutoring.
Hardware:
The Workstations in this room are Dell w/Microsoft Windows; Pentium D/3.0Ghz 1GB RAM, 17" flat panel monitor, 3.5"FDD, 160 GB HD, DVD+/-RW. Additional equipment available are an HP550C Scanner and projector panel with 2 overhead screens.

Room BSB-133
This is an open lab which adjoins open lab 132 BSB and is occasionally used for hands-on instruction of Computer Science Majors. Use of this lab for teaching purposes is by reservation only.
Basic Layout & Hardware:
Equipment available: 19 Sun Workstations (Blade 150/650MHz, 512MB RAM, 18" flat panel monitor, 40 GB HD, 3.5" FDD, CD-ROM) mounted on 5 tables (4 workstations mounted on 4 tables and 3 workstations mounted on one table); eraseable marker board.
